ROSS ELEMENTARY WEEKLY NEWSLETTER

 Thursday October 22nd, 2026.

A Message from Your Principal, Mr. Frew

Thank You, Ross Families!

Dear Ross Community,

Thank you to all the parents and guardians who took the time to connect with our teaching staff during parent-teacher conferences. These conversations are an important part of building strong partnerships between home and school, and we truly appreciate your involvement and support in your child's learning journey.

A friendly reminder that tomorrow, Friday, October 23, is a District wide Professional Development Day, and there will be no school for students.

While our students enjoy a day away from the classroom, our teachers and educational assistants will be engaged in professional learning, strengthening their skills, sharing ideas, and exploring new ways to best support the students in our care.

Our amazing Grade 4 and 5 student leaders have been busy planning some exciting theme days for our Ross Elementary community! These fun-filled days are a wonderful way to build school spirit, strengthen our sense of belonging, and bring students and staff together through creativity, laughter, and shared experiences. We are proud of our student leaders for taking the initiative to make Ross an even more welcoming and enjoyable place to learn. Stay tuned for more details about our upcoming theme days!

Thank you for your continued support and for being such an important part of our Ross Elementary community.

Have a wonderful weekend, Ross Tigers!
