A Message from Your Principal, Mr. Frew

Hello Ross Families!

What a fantastic week at Ross Elementary! November is off to a wonderful start, and our school continues to be filled with learning, laughter, and plenty of Ross Tiger spirit!

This week, we had a fantastic time celebrating Diwali, the Festival of Lights! Our students enjoyed painting diyas, sharing delicious samosas, and showing off their dance moves at our Diwali dance party! It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate culture, learn about traditions, and come together as a school community. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this celebration so special!

Looking ahead, we will be holding our Remembrance Day Ceremony on Tuesday, November 10th, at 9:30 AM in the school gym. Families are warmly invited to join us as we come together to honour those who have served and sacrificed for our freedom. This is an important opportunity for our students to reflect on the values of peace, courage, gratitude, and remembrance.

As always, thank you to our amazing staff, supportive families, and wonderful students for making Ross such a special little school. It truly is a great place to learn and grow!

Have a fantastic weekend, Ross Tigers!
