Shape of the Week - Oct 6 - 10
ROSS ELEMENTARY WEEKLY NEWSLETTER
Friday October 3rd, 2025.
A Message from Your Principal, Mr. Frew
Dear Ross Families,
Well, if you blinked, you may have missed September! It feels like we just opened the doors for the first day of school, and here we are already in full swing of learning, routines, and the daily hum of a busy school. Students have settled in wonderfully, classrooms are buzzing, and I’m fairly certain the lost-and-found is already full (that may be the truest sign school is back in session).
October is shaping up to be an exciting month. We’ll start with Picture Day on October 8th, then the Thanksgiving long weekend with no school on Monday Oct 13th. October, 22nd and 23rd, we’ll host our Parent-Teacher Conferences, always a great opportunity to connect, celebrate growth, and collaborate on student learning. You’ll register for this online. We also have a Pro-D Day on October 24th.
On October 30th, we’ll gather for our first HEROIC Assembly of the year, where we’ll celebrate the successes, big and small, of our students. This will highlight the incredible effort, kindness, and growth happening across our school community. (More details soon) And, of course, October wouldn’t be complete without Halloween on the 31st. We’re already bracing ourselves for the excitement, costumes, and sugar rushes that are sure to follow.
Thank you, as always, for your partnership and support. Together, we’ll make this October a month full of learning, laughter, and community spirit.
