A Message from Your Principal, Mr. Frew

Many of you have heard about our monthly HEROIC Assemblies, where we gather as a school to celebrate the great things happening at Ross. These assemblies include music, student recognition, and a fun slideshow highlighting moments from our school community.

For March, we will be skipping our regular HEROIC assembly and will resume at the end of April. When we return, we would love to include you, our Ross families, in the celebration!

Spring Break adventures come in all shapes and sizes. Whether your family is travelling abroad, visiting family, exploring locally, or simply enjoying time together at home, we invite you to send us a photo of your family’s Spring Break adventure. We will include these in a special community slideshow during our April HEROIC Assembly.

This is a fun opportunity for students to see the many ways our Ross community connects, explores, and spends time together.

Reminders

Parking

If you are driving your child to school, please park on the street and walk to get your child. If you are dropping off using the bus lane, please be aware that the bus arrives 8:45am and you need to be quick about the kids getting out of the car. If you drop off in the lane closest to the road, please have them exit onto the grass and use the crosswalk to cross the street. Please do not park and leave your vehicle in the bus lane.

Absences

If your child is going to be absent please use the Safe Arrival which can be found on the Ross website - https://ross.abbyschools.ca/safe-arrival . If they are late, please come and check in at the office. If you are not going to be riding the bus, please also let us know that you are picking up your child. Our phone number is 604-856-6079.

Lost And Found

Our lost and found is starting to get full again.  Please come and see if your child is missing a coat.  Anything not claimed by spring break will be taken to goodwill.

Vintage T-Shirts and Jerseys

We still have lots of jerseys and T-Shirts.  Bring in an item of food for the food bank and get a T-shirt or jersey.
