Shape of the Week - April 6-11
ROSS ELEMENTARY WEEKLY NEWSLETTER
Thursday April 2nd, 2026.
A Message from Your Principal, Mr. Frew
A big thank you to all of our families who have been sending in pictures of your Spring Break adventures, keep them coming! The students absolutely love seeing these moments, and we’re excited to showcase them at our April Assembly. It’s a great way to celebrate our community and the experiences that bring us together.
As we look ahead, a reminder that Good Friday (April 3) and Easter Monday (April 6) are coming up, and there will be no school on those days. We hope this long weekend provides your family with time to rest, recharge, and enjoy some meaningful moments together, whether that’s getting outside, sharing meals, or simply slowing things down.
We are also excited to celebrate Vaisakhi as a school community on Tuesday, April 14. To mark this important and joyful occasion, we will be hosting a Vaisakhi Dance Party in the gym, complete with music, lights, and lots of energy!
Families are warmly invited to be part of the celebration. You are welcome to:
- Send in food to share (optional)
- Come by to take pictures and join in the experience from 12:45 – 1:20.
Students (and staff!) are encouraged to wear traditional Vaisakhi clothing or attire that reflects the spirit of the celebration.
We are looking forward to a vibrant and inclusive celebration together!
Wishing all of our Ross families a wonderful weekend ahead, take time to connect, laugh, and enjoy being together.
