Sept 2- First Day of school

Message to community:
 

As I prepare to say goodbye to this incredible school community, I am full of gratitude and a touch of sadness. Serving as your principal has been one of the greatest honors of my career, and I will forever cherish the memories we've created together. Your children have truly delighted me. They have inspired me daily with their curiosity, creativity, and courage. My favourite thing is watching them challenge themselves on the playground and in the classroom and watch their faces fill with pride as they succeed.

One of the most joyful memories from this year was our unforgettable trip to Crescent Beach. Watching the children explore the shoreline, giggling as they gently scooped up tiny crabs and sharing their discoveries with friends, was a beautiful reminder of the wonder and curiosity that lives in every child.  A heartfelt thank you to our incredible PAC for paying for the chips and juice box and serving it at the beach. A big thank you to Mr. Hayre for paying for the pizza.

Another highlight this year was the Indigenous dinner so thoughtfully organized by Lisa. It was a beautiful evening filled with warmth, culture, and community. Families came together to share in a meal, stories, and make connection. Lisa organized the students and they all did their part in making it successful. It was a really special evening for our Indigenous students as they were celebrated and an award was given. 

Though I am moving on to a new chapter, I carry with me the lessons, laughter, and love that this community has given me. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your children’s educational journey. 
 

The Office

The office will be open next week.  We will be closing on Friday at 3pm.  The office will be opening on August 25^th at 8:30. Please email us if your plans change over the summer and you will not be attending Ross. 
 

Lost and Found

We will be packing up the lost and found and donating it next week Wednesday. Please come in and see if your child has anything here.
