A Heroic Week at Ross!

Thank you to all the families who came out to our Heroic Assembly. What a fantastic time! There were lots of smiles, laughter, and big cheers as we celebrated our amazing students and school spirit.

We also had a wonderful Halloween here at Ross! The costumes were creative, the laughs were contagious, and… well, there may have been just a little bit of sugar involved.

As you head out trick-or-treating tonight, I want to wish everyone a Happy Halloween! Have fun, stay safe, and enjoy making memories together!

Remembrance Day Ceremony at Ross

You’re Invited: Remembrance Day Ceremony – Thu, Nov 6 @ 9:30 AM

You are warmly invited to join us for our school’s Remembrance Day ceremony on Thursday, November 6 at 9:30 a.m. in the gym. Together, we will honour the service and sacrifice of veterans, active members of the Canadian Armed Forces, first responders, and peacekeepers, and reflect on the importance of peace in our world.

We’re grateful to gather as a community for this meaningful occasion, and you are welcome to join us.

What is happening next week?

November 5^th- Grade 4/5 Soccer at Bradner. 3:45.

November 6^th – Remembrance Day Assembly 9:30am

What is happening later??

November 10^th – Professional Development Day. No School for Students.

November 11^th - Remembrance Day. No school for staff and students

November 25^th – PAC meeting. 6:30 at Ross Multi-purpose room.

Reminders

Parking

If you are driving your child to school, please park on the street and walk to get your child. If you are dropping off using the bus lane, please be aware that the bus arrives 8:45am and you need to be quick about the kids getting out of the car. If you drop off in the lane closest to the road, please have them exit onto the grass and use the crosswalk to cross the street. Please do not park and leave your vehicle in the bus lane.

Absences

If your child is going to be absent please use the Safe Arrival which can be found on the Ross website - https://ross.abbyschools.ca/safe-arrival . If they are late, please come and check in at the office. If you are not going to be riding the bus, please also let us know that you are picking up your child. Our phone number is 604-856-6079.
